Al Gore has been a passionate advocate of action to halt climate change for many years.

In his best-selling book, An Inconvenient Truth, he wrote about the urgent need to address the problems of climate change, presenting comprehensive facts and information on all aspects of global warming in a direct, thoughtful and compelling way, using explanatory diagrams and dramatic photos to clarify and highlight key issues.

Adopting the same lucid technique in Our Choice, he proposes solutions at every level of our lives, from the personal and local to the national and political to the area of international policy and law.

About Al Gore:

Al Gore was elected to the US House of Representatives in 1976 and the US Senate in 1984 and 1990.

He is chairman of Generation Investment Management, a London-based firm that is focused on a new approach to Sustainable Investing.

He also serves as chairman of Current, an independently owned cable and satellite television network for young people based on viewer-created content and citizen journalism.
